Dr. Mei-Yan Lu is Professor of Educational Leadership at San Jose State University in San Jose, California, U.S.A. In the late 90's, she was a Senior Fellow in School of Communication Studies at Nangyang Technological University in Singapore. Dr. Lu has been teaching in the public schools, universities and consulting for government agencies, educational institutions, business and industry in the United States and overseas for the last 21 years. |

Her areas of specialization include: online and blended learning, interactive multimedia design/development/evaluation, English language learners, teaching strategies, professional development, and emerging technologies. |

香港近日於關於教科書教材分拆的爭論愈演愈烈，從原本只為解決教科書的成本轉稼問題逐漸演變成誰應負擔那些費用的政治議題，亦令原目標愈來愈模糊，導致普羅大眾只關注到眼前的利益誰屬，忽略了背後所隱含的變數，例如：分拆後會否因為教材及學材需各自招標而引致教材學材分家，令教學設計變得支離破碎。 |

對於教學工作者來說，學與教是緊密連繫的。教師在教之前必先要以學生如何學為前題，從而設計合適的教案及採用恰當的材料。故教師應關注的並非教材能否分拆，而是教材的質素，以及我們如何藉著這些工具來提高教學效能。在過去數十年，教科書雖在內容設計及配套資源上不斷增潤，但能幫助教師改變其教學範式者甚少。在這報告中，鄭賢義博士將會闡述電子教科書的最新發展，以及如何藉著網上教學平台提升其優點並進行有效的跟進措施。 |
